Cardio Workouts  

*Cardio workouts (aerobic exercise) are the only way to show those muscles you have been working on so hard to build. Not only will a cardio workout burn the fat, but it also works your most important muscle, the heart. In order to effectively burn the fat off your body you must consistently do a cardio workout. This means at the very least 3 days a week for 30-60 minutes per cardio workout. 

*Heart Rate : In order to burn fat you have to get your heart rate to at least 55% more than its normal rate. Ideally it is best to have your heart rate 65-85% above normal to get a quality cardio workout. To keep track of your heart rate it is a good idea to buy a watch/heart monitor. A cardio workout chart is available for all Natural Weightlifting members which will give you the proper heart rate for your age in a cardio workout.

*Efficiently Burning Fat : At first it will take your body about 20 minutes into a cardio workout to start burning fat. Your body will burn available carbohydrates first. The more consistently you exercise aerobically in a cardio workout the more efficiently your body will burn fat. After a month or two of consistent cardio workouts you will start to see a real difference in your appearance, as long as you follow the proper diet, which is available for all Natural Weightlifting members. 

*When to Exercise : Ideally it is best to do your cardio workouts in the morning before you eat, or right after you lift weights. Reasoning being for this is that you do not want to have any ready available carbohydrates for energy during your cardio workout. You want your body to burn fat calories for energy.
